Patient's Name: Timothy Meiring
Age at start of care: 7 months
Timmy was not originally a patient. His mother, Ruth started care here and during the course of her regular treatment, Dr. Jones commented on the rigidity of her little boy just sitting in his car seat, looking around. He
suggested Timmy getting checked and she agreed, scheduling and
appointment. At 7 months old, Timmy was not crawling. He made no effort to be active on his own. At this time Timmy had made no sounds at all. It was clear he was not developing properly. His mom noted that Timmy's collarbone was broken at some point during the birthing process. Timmy has also had to under go physical therapy in order to stretch his
hamstrings. Timmy was on a weekly care plan. His mother reports that after 1-2 spinal alignments miracles were happening for this baby. In that time span, he began jabbering and was starting to sit up by himself. She vividly recalls her surprise when blurted out "Ma-Ma" from the back seat during a car trip. She said that in those same 2 weeks he also started crawling. At the time of this writing he is an active, happy little boy of ten-month-old. He is able to use his arms freely and is now attempting to walk. He pulls himself up on furniture and moves around the furniture. His mother says that he is still a little behind on sounds. He needs s to expand his vocals to different types of sounds instead of the same ones. Other than that, she feels he is at the level he should be for his age. Within his first couple of months of care, he has progressed more than is several moths of his life.
